Remember, if you’re signed-up for the DSLR Skills course you need to undertake your own project as part of your homework. We’re giving you some tips on this in module 2 – which will be sent to your email address on March 25.
Why do you need to do a project?
Well, for starters, it’s a brilliant way of challenging yourself to really explore a subject. It’ll make you think about how you photograph a subject and truly stretch your thinking and ability. It’s also something you can focus on during the time between each module and you can go at your own pace.
Do I have a timescale in which to complete my project?
You can continue with your project for as long as you like but you should be aware that we’ll be giving you details of a special competition with module 5 (with PP on-sale June 17) that will involve images you’ve taken for your project. If you are one of the winners of this exclusive DSLR Skills Course competition, you could win a place on a photo holiday to Slovakia with Mountain Paradise.

Can I shoot anything for my project?
Yes, you can. The subject choice is up to you.
Can I take part if I haven’t signed-up?
No, you can’t but you can sign-up today here.
What do I do now?
Select a subject and start working on it. Remember, if you are stuck for ideas we’ll be giving you some tips and advice with module 2. Good luck.
