The Lensbaby range of specialist lenses are a relatively cheap way of extending the shooting options in your kit bag, and will allow you to achieve striking ‘arty’ focusing effects. Lensbaby lenses don’t work in a conventional way however and require the photographer to angle the lenses front element independently of the camera body to move the point of focus, known as the ‘sweetspot’ around the frame.
