Crosslighting is a popular lighting set up favoured by 'strobist' photographers and used mainly for portrait photography. It's basically when lights are set up facing each other, diagonally in front and behind the subject to create a gritty lighting effect.
In this video demonstration, American photographer Chris Burns quickly shows you how to use this technique to achieve fantastic lighting in your portraiture. This demonstration uses Cactus V2 wireles trandmitters with Vivitar 285 HV flashes, but the technique can be used with any wireless flash system or studio flash.
