Smooth skin in portrait images

This week’s video tip from Photoanswers shows you how to smooth skin in your portrait images using Photoshop’s Retouching tools and the Brush tool. This quick and effective technique is a great one to know if you want create tidy and immaculate looking skin tones in minutes.
The Brush tool is available in both Elements and Photoshop but whichever one you use, you’ll be able to follow the steps in the technique and apply the same effect to some of your own close-up portraits. The finishing touch involves using Selections and adding a Levels Adjustment Layer to brighten up the area around the model’s eyes.
