Very useful video, Chris. I do think, however, that you overdo the effect. This is of course a matter of taste, but your final image looks unnatural to me. In real life a reflection in a lake will always look darker than what´s reflected. The image you start with clearly shows this fact. You can always punch up the sky, but in my opinion the reflected image should always be darker.

CS3 compatible

The intro above says this tutorial is not compatible with CS3. This is because feathering of a selection (shortcut ctrl-alt-D) affects the outer border of your selection as well as the inner border. However, you can use the feathering tool in the command "refine edge" within the dropdown "select" menu (Ctrl-alt-R) to recreate just one sided feathering as shown in the tutorial. The rest of the tutorial is identical for CS3.
