A Camera Raw interface is very similar to a large palette in Photoshop and it loads up as soon as you choose to open a RAW file. There are many tools and sliders to experiment with in this interface, but it’s important to understand what each one actually does.

This Photoanswers video tip explores some of the different tools that are available in the Camera Raw interface toolbox and then goes on an explains the purposes of each slider. Once you’ve got to grips with the layout, you’ll be able to use the sliders and have much more control over your RAW images.

This RAW video tip has been created in Photoshop but it’s also suitable for those using Elements. It is brought to you by Michael Topham, Technical Writer for Digital Photo and Photoanswers.
