When you shoot landscapes the weather is always perfect and the best view is just yards from the car park…right? Nope, wrong. Follow editor-in-chief Andrew James' video diary as he goes wild camping high on the fells of the Lake District where the weather doesn't want to play ball.

Sorry one other thing. On your moody images especialy the one of the old building was it a dodge and burn technique I notice the clouds where very menacising or was this done another way?

I read the article but hadnt watched the vid. Looks like great fun I have been discussing a few trips with my mates in my 70's VW (cheating I know) to get some great landscapes and get out into the wild. The video was great inspiration and showed how you can get great shots even in bad weather.
