This video looks great but I have 1 question. What is the difference between using HDR and taking 3 photos versus just maniputlating a RAW and importing as layers with different exposures as in the latest (September) edition of Digital Photo? Sorry if it sounds silly but I am just getting into editing photos and the 2 techniques seem very similar.

By converting the RAW files to JPG's, you're automatically losing a huge amount of data. You're best off opening the RAW files in Photomatix and merging them. All together though, a good tutorial.
