DLSR Skills course module 4 is all about controlling exposure. We've chosen low light techniques to show you how exposure works in extreme light situations. ISO, shutter speed and aperture are the exposure tools at the photographers' disposal, and this is what we'll be looking at in this video.

Technique writer James abbott will show you how to use ISO, shutter speed and aperture manually to acheive intentionally underexposed shots. The result is a moody low key portrait shot in a dark tunnel.

Don't forget you can read the accompanying article that contains much more valuable advice in the June issue of Practical Photography which is out on 20th May.
