general question; i ve seen several videos on using off camera flashs. ALL of them use the main flash on the right hand side. is this pure coincidence, or is there a "rule" that light "has to come from the right" ?

Since I was the person that shot all the images and created the video, it is important to me. It may not be that important to you, but if someone likes the work and wants to see more, and the wrong photographer is credited with that work, that person is going to have a difficult time trying to find what they are looking for. Let's look at it this way. Someone takes photos that you shot and posted online, and they use those photos in a book, tutorial, video, or for advertising, all without your permission and without crediting you for the work. Are you going to have that same, "who cares who did the work" type of additude? Most likely not. You would probably fight to have your rights as the owner of the image protected. When someone uses your image or any other work that you created, as long as you haven't given them full rights to it, you have a legal right under the copyright laws to have the proper credit given to you. So in this case it really is important who did the work, not just for me as the creator of the video and images used in the video, but for the Photo Answers administration and owners, and the incorrectly credited party, also. My previous post was just so a mistake could be corrected, and it was, long before any other comments were added. I appreciate the admins for making things right.

The photographer for this video is Chris Burns, not Kevin Kertz, as you have listed. Kevin only created the photoshop template used to describe the lighting setup and had absolutely nothing to do with the making of this video. Please correct this information in your description.
