Awesome workshop video!!!
What an awesome insight into how we can make better use of our time at places like bird centres.
As Chris has demonstrated, its exceptionally important to be able to communicate well with other people. I have met other PRO photgraphers at race tracks all over Northern Ireland and concerts all over AUSTRALIA, who moan at me, cause they are much better photographers than I, but yet I manage to get into all the really cool places, getting people to do things for me that others would not have done for them....
well its simple........ COMMUNICATE WITH THE AUTHORITIES.... make sure you have co-operation of everyone in your team, and by team I mean everyone whose involved in letting you in their premises, the guy whose controlling the bird or start gate at a race.... some of the most capable photgraphers in the world completely screw up their potential by not communicating. heres an example of how chris did this exceptionally.
Fantastic work, and I was even surprised that 800 iso was needed in daylight. I've just learnt that even the pro's have this issue with light and its not just us mere mortals!
OH AND BY THE WAY.....
I HAVE NEVER MET OR HEARD OF ANYONE ELSE WITH THE SURNAME ... maybe we're related Chris... maybe you could just let me have that 200mm vr 2.8 lens for a few hours... or forever.. seeing as how we must be brothers.. we even have the same northface jacket!!!!
THanks
