Nikon has announced a new high zoom compact camera that is perfect for travel, sports events, music concerts and more. The slimline COOLPIX S9300 captures detail, thanks to a NIKKOR 18x optical zoom lens, a back-illuminated 16-megapixel CMOS image sensor, lens-shift vibration reduction, Full HD movie recording, 7.5 cm (3.0-in.) LCD monitor and built-in GPS.
Class-leading zoom: the COOLPIX S9300
Behind the slimline (30.6mm at its widest part) body of the COOLPIX S9300 lays a wealth of cutting-edge technology that sets this 16-megapixel camera apart. Perfect for use in any situation, its NIKKOR 18x lens (25 – 450 mm coverage) captures distant action or candid close-ups with ease. Meanwhile, lens-shift vibration reduction enables sharp results and a steady image on the 3” high resolution (921k dot) LCD screen with clear colour technology, making it easy to frame shots.
An innovative recording function lets budding movie makers shoot film clips, pause and then continue filming, and the camera will create one movie file for smooth playback. Easy Panorama function lets you pan vertically or horizontally to create dynamic panoramas. Built-in GPS capability lets you tag your photos at any time, or track your route on the move.
The COOLPIX S9300 comes in four colours: Red, silver, black, and blue.
COOLPIX S9300: £299.99 / €354
