Epson has today announced it’s latest enthusiast printer model in the form of the A3+ Stylus Photo R3000

We managed to get one of two pre production models to give you a sneak preview of what this latest model has to offer. See it unboxed for the first time in our online video and read our full review in our March 2011 issues.

The highly specified R3000 offers A3+printing like never before. Increased ink capacities and a range of new features make this printer very desirable. Not only do you get to print for longer, thanks to 2.3x larger ink cartridges, you also have the option to print onto CD/DVD disks plus there’s wireless connectivity with built-in WiFi. The model is also blessed with improved paper handling with the thicker art media papers being loaded from the front of the printer thanks to a new innovative design. This saves space, and ensures a flatter track through the printer. On the front of this latest model, there’s a new 2.5in LCD monitor that is perfect for monitoring your ink levels and providing quick access to the printer controls. Software improvements give you access to ICC profiles for improved print accuracy and an auto selection for Matte and Photo black inks saves time and effort.
