Ian Holmes, an engineer living on the Norfolk coast, is the winner of the Mastering Composition homework task. Ian wins a lovely Nikon D40 kit worth £420. D-SLR Skills Course ‘students’ uploaded over 650 pictures, but Ian’s graphic black & white shot of Happisburgh lighthouse grabbed the headlines. The course tutors were suitably impressed: “Ian’s shot shows great use of winding lead-in lines and smart use of the rule-of-thirds.”
