INTERNATIONAL GARDEN PHOTOGRAPHER OF THE YEAR COMPETITION - DEADLINE SOON!

International Garden Photographer of the Year is calling for entries for its fifth annual competition.

Top prize £5000 plus cash prizes for all category winners.
£2000 for portfolio winner plus Royal Photographic Society Gold Medal.

Deadline: 30th November 2011

The competition has a range of exciting and inspirational categories:

• The Beauty of Plants (sponsored by Photobox)
• Beautiful Gardens
• Wildlife Havens
• Breathing Spaces (sponsored by the National Trust)
• Bountiful Earth
• Fragile Landscapes
• Greening the City

The overall winner will be awarded the title ‘International Garden Photographer of the Year’ and receive a cash prize of £5,000.

All winning images will be shown at a prestigious exhibition at Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew, from 3rd March 2012. The exhibition will then tour to other venues in the UK and around the world.

All winning and commended images will feature in a prestigious book to be published March 2012.

The winners of the fifth International Garden Photographer of the Year competition will be announced on 3rd March 2012.
