The energy efficient Western Digital My Book World Edition II 4TB has a USB 2.0 connection for use with both Mac and PC, but you will need Windows Vista for the latter, as the older operating systems cannot see beyond 2TB capacities. Like many drives this size, you have the option to set it as RAID-0 or RAID-1. The RAID-1 option will drop the capacity to 2TB, but that’s still a lot of space by anyone’s standards. This drive also sports an ethernet connection that can be plugged into your home router, enabling the drive to be seen by anyone who is connected to your wireless router.
