Slik Pro 713 CFII

The Slik Pro 713CF features extensive padded leg wraps that make carrying in cold weather a little easier and leg locks in the twist-type form with plenty of grooves in the rubber for a good grip.

With each leg section of the Slik Pro 713 fully extended and the central column raised it reached an impressive 187cm height in 26 seconds. If you prefer to work from low heights, the central column splits. Use the smaller section, pull out the leg spread locks and you can shoot from 21cm. The central column, however, cannot be repositioned into the horizontal position so you’re restricted to shooting in a vertical movement only.
If you like to photograph on rocky terrain, screw down the rubber feet and the spikier metal ones show through. These avoid the tripod slipping in wet or icy conditions. There’s also a hook to latch your bag onto to make it more stable should the windy weather persist. Its strong build, solid rigidity and 1.39kg weight offers excellent value for money at the reasonable price of £169.
