The Seculine Digital spirit level fits onto the camera’s hotshoe mount (not Sony Alpha), and a set of LED lights illuminate either red or green. The device can detect front-to-back tilt, as well as left-to-right, and you can still see the lights when you are looking through the camera’s viewfinder. If you keep getting wonky horizons, then this is the kind of product you need in your camera bag, and at just £25 it won’t break the bank.

I got my daughter to buy me this gizzmo for Christmas (Bristol Cameras £23.50). It works really well, even in bright conditions. The only problem I find is that you can knock it off the shoe and loose it if your not careful
