Manfrotto Veloce V SB390

The Veloce V SB390 is part of the Manfrotto Stile series of backpacks and features a conventional design, with one main compartment for your D-SLR and lenses.

Rather than getting to your gear from the front, the contents in the Manfrotto veloce V SB390 are accessed from the rear, which makes for a much safer way of transporting expensive equipment around without it being open to potential thieves.
Inside the bag there’s an impressive selection of pockets and a padded sleeve ready to fit a 15.4in laptop. Not all the internal dividers are removable, though, which was slightly frustrating and it was rather fiddly to pack. Fully laden, we managed to fit a D-SLR with a 70-200mm telephoto attached, along with two additional lenses. There is a dedicated space for a small travel tripod on one side and the top corner area has its own quick-access point from the outside, secured by a large buckle, but for a bag of its size we expected to be able to cram in more lenses than we did.  
The back of the pack is well padded and the same can be said for the shoulder straps, although they are on the thin side. This didn’t detract from the overall comfort of the bag but we would have liked the option of sternum and/or waist straps to make it more secure when walking quickly and running.
Overall, the build of the bag can’t really be faulted. The materials feel strong and durable throughout and though it lacks a few options that would turn it into a great backpack, it’s comfy to use.
