The Lowepro Stealth Reporter D200 AW lives up to its name as it has an understated all-black design that sports a fairly square, chunky shape. There are no complaints when it comes to the build quality of the Lowepro Stealth Reporter D200 AW – it has a tough, durable finish with decent stitching and, like the Kata DC-445, the amount of padding is extremely good, offering a great level of protection all round the bag. There are no feet, but there’s a built-in all-weather cover concealed underneath the bag that can be pulled out and wrapped over the D200 AW.
The D200 AW soaked up all our test gear in the main compartment with space to spare, while it’s possible to accommodate larger items of kit if needed, such as a 70-200mm pro zoom or larger pro-spec D-SLR. There’s a nice, large separate card wallet included that tucks away into one of the internal pockets, and there are two large pockets on the front of the bag, too.
There’s a very comfortable padded, non-slip strap – the best on test, and along with the Fastex buckle and zip to get into the main compartment, there’s a presstop to boot.
With a weather-sealed zip it offers quick access to your kit, though you’re only going to be able to pull smaller items of gear out from the relatively tight opening.
