That stalwart of conventional photography, the grey card has been given a Lastolite makeover in the form of the ExpoBalance.

Like other Lastolite products, the ExpoBalanace is a pop open reflector-style devicer, except it’s geared towards perfect exposures and white balance. The triangular shape has three targets n each side, with a white,black and grey on one side and three shades f grey on the other. Depending on your needs, you can use these targets ti achieve consistent exposure and white balance. You could use it as a traditional grey card for measuring exposure, use it to manually set white balance or include it in the first shot of a batch of images for camera calibration and retrospectively correcting Raw files in Photoshop or other editing software.
The unit folds into a small pouch, which will easily fit into a camera bag making it portable, while the fabric is more robust than a traditional card based grey card.
