Build & design
This Kata bag is quite expensive, but it is a very well made product that, in part, justifies the higher cost. The structure of the bag is very solid with a foam covered metal support, like a spine, that keeps the bag very well protected. This is a very lightweight bag for the size and the material is of a very high quality. The straps are very comfortable to wear and there’s even a built-in camera strap so you don’t need to have a strap around your neck. There’s a lot to like about this trendy-looking bag, which is designed for serious use.
Storage
It was easy to get to our kit thanks to a large front opening. There was also a small access panel in the front to get into the central part of the bag with speed. Even without a dedicated extra pocket, we had oodles of space in this bag, but there are no external pockets for accessories. You get a rain cover, laptop pocket, beanbag and tripod attachments.
Overall verdict
This bag is truly superb, but you pay a high price for such a versatile and high quality product. Saying that, it’s probably worth it.
