The Kata 3N1-20 camera bag looks more like a futuristic parachute pack than a bag – the slimline three-in-one sling design is comfortable, compact and unique.

The bag is designed to offer three carrying positions – sling, backpack or X-position (with straps crossed over for long distance walking) – and straps are colour coded so left and right-handers know which strap to throw over which shoulder.
Despite its modest size, you can comfortably pack a large DSLR with grip and up to three lenses, plus snacks and waterproofs, memory cards and MP3 player. But that’s not all – the 3N1-20 also includes a bright yellow rain cover, which folds neatly away, a TST (Thermo Shield technology) spine for protection and quick-access zips on either side. It’s comfortable to wear, can be customised to the hilt, and looks good too. The 3N1-20 will certainly appeal to photographers of a more youthful disposition, the only caveat being value for money– £90 is a lot to pay for a small bag, especially
considering the Lowepro Mini Trekker AW costs less than £70.
