Digital photo frames are certainly popular, and there are now so many of them to choose from. The Hama frame measures 10.4in, which is a nice size frame to place on a desk. The styling is both simple yet classy, with a high gloss finish with a black border. There’s only an SD card slot alongside the USB port for you to upload images, so users of other card formats may find this a touch frustrating, as they will need to upload from a computer. The menus are very basic, but once set you’ll rarely need them. The frame offers a very clear screen that is both bright and detailed. The images can be displayed as single images or slide shows, and you can use the split screen facility to show multiple images too. If you can see past the basic menus and you’re happy with just the one type of media slot, then this £120 frame is great value for money and outputs an impressive display.
