The Hama Traveller Mini Pro is a lightweight 740g.

Manufactured from aluminium, the Hama Traveller Mini Pro packs away neatly and boasts a folded length of 39.5cm. These dimensions make it practical for packing, so you should never have trouble finding space for it among your clothes in your suitcase.
Spreading the legs and unlocking the flip-locks was hassle free; applying heavy pressure showed that the leg locks prevented slipping, but the thin leg sections at the bottom flexed a fair amount.
At its full extension, the tripod reached 117cm and couldn’t go as low as the others because it doesn’t offer leg spreading releases or a splitting centre column. The minimum working height is therefore restricted to 39.5cm, but it is possible to remove the head and screw it on the other end of the centre column for inverted work. The ball head operated freely and locked tightly, but doesn’t feature a quick-release plate like the others, so setup took slightly longer.
Assembling the tripod to its maximum height took 24secs, compared with 17secs to collapse. At £40, this is a sensibly priced travel tripod.

The rated maximum load is claimed to be 10 kg. I have found that it happily supports my Canon EOS 450D when fitted with its 18-55 mm. lens but suffers from initial droop when the camera is fitted with a Sigma 70-300 mm. lens. However, once settled it works fine.
