The The Gary Fong Lightsphere II flash diffuser is cheap, unbreakable and produces a superb quality of light that photographers will love. It slides onto the top of your flashgun where it’s held in place by a rubber grip. It’s fairly hard to pull off – the attachment system is much more effective than all the straps, strips and bands you get with other diffusers. Less is more when it comes to ease and speed of use.

The main part of the Gary Fong Lightsphere II flash diffuser is made from clear vinyl and is flexible so it won’t crack or break when subjected to the inevitable bashing it will get in the field.
Rather than simply diffuse the direct flash hitting your subject, it spreads the light all over the place, lighting up a whole room. We found this especially useful when shooting interiors and large group scenes, when you need to make the most of a powerful flashgun.
Best of all it’s cheap, simple to use and produces great results. Using this device on top of the flash reduces ugly shadows to a soft outline, producing a flattering result in portraits.

First of all - the price - its actually £35 plus VAT (and with delivery it comes in at £47)
Is it worth the money - actually yes it is, I have only used it a couple of times and am still playing with flash settings to see what will give me the nest results but overall a far superior result than the SB800 can give on its own (or with the supplied diffuser. A must for portraits.
