The Elinchrom D-Lite 2 home studio flash kit is easy to use for consistent results. It comes complete with instructional DVD, but build quality of clasps and stands leaves a little to be desired.

The output of this Elinchrom D-Lite 2 flash kit can be precision-controlled using simple push-buttons, though you have to repeatedly press the same buttons to select the exact output you want. The same is true with the modelling light – you have to scroll through options rather than just flicking an on/off switch.
The plastic construction of stands, clasps and other attachments is a little flimsy. However, the light that these units kick out is very attractive – once you correct the slight pink cast that they give off. The real beauty of this kit is that the D-Lite 2 units are so consistent.
One of the great extras you get with this kit is the instructional DVD, which shows you the basics of studio lighting and how to get great results with the minimum of fuss – just what you need when you take a studio kit home for the first time. It all fits into a tidy little carry bag so it won’t take up much space at home or in your car boot. Considering there are two softboxes included, this kit offers exceptional value for money.

Kit includes
2 flash heads (200W each; 5100k)
0.7sec recycling time
2 stands
1 small softbox,
1 medium softbox
1 stand bag, 1 flash head bag
