Portable background supports are really convenient if you’re on the move or have to pack your studio away after every shoot. The Elemental Studio Portraiture Background Pole Outfit will support cloth and paper backgrounds on rolls up to 2.72m wide. This background support set includes 2x sprung anodized aluminium stands, aluminium cross poles and a strong canvas carry case. The cross bar is actually four separate pieces that are assembled together. Some background supports have telescopic cross bars for quick assembly, but these are a lot more expensive. There’s no background included so you need to invest in a cloth background or seamless paper background in the colour of your choice. Or, buy the more expensive version with a white or black background supplied.
