EFrame offers its framing services online and the website homepage is clearly organised, making it easy to place an order.EFrame offers its framing services online. The website homepage is clearly organised and gives you the option of buying ready-made metal and wooden frames in a variety of sizes and there’s a design area for customising your own. After uploading a JPEG image, we keyed in the dimensions of our print and the single mount style was selected. There were 42 white core, 7 black core and 2 metallic mount colours on offer. After ticking snow-white as our mount colour, we scrolled down the extensive list of frames under the black coloured mouldings and chose a 33mm black frame, made from ayous wood with a stain finish. At the end of the designing stage you can choose between acrylic safety glazing or standard 2mm glass and although we went for the latter, it’s worth knowing there is a £3.47 surcharge. The final cost of the frame came to £43.99, which included delivery and VAT.
eFrame estimates a 6-8 day working period for despatch and our frame arrived in good time, well packaged with glass intact ready for attaching our print. The frame build felt refined and the window mount was precisely cut, so there were no faults in its construction. The snow-white mount that we chose had a pleasing, yet subtle texture and the glass arrived spotless from top to bottom. Our frame offered excellent value for money at £44.
