If you like to snap on the go with your mobile phone camera, then this set of camera phone lenses could be just the thing to inject some creativity into your shots.
Included in this setoff camera phone lesnes is a 180o circular fisheye lens (0.28x) and a wide-angle (0.68x) that can be unscrewed to reveal a macro optic for snapping up close – giving an impressive minimum focus of 10mm. Both lenses feel solid and of sound build quality, and come with a handy front and rear lens cover to prevent scratches and scrapes.
The lenses can be attached to any type of mobile phone using a small magnetic ring, which is then stuck onto the body of the phone via an adhesive backing. This rudimentary attachment is surprisingly strong, but it did leave some sticky residue and obstructed the inbuilt flash on our iPhone 4 test subject.
Shooting with the lenses provided some great results with the macro impressing us most of all. You can’t expect D-SLR quality results of course, but they’re a great creative option. For the £32 price tag, which includes shipping, they’re superb fun and you’ll soon find yourself hooked on snapping with them!
