The Buffalo LinkStation Mini 2.5 1TB is a compact unit, thanks to the small 2.5in hard disk at its heart. It also features a power consumption advantage, as the drive uses 60% less energy to run than its predecessor. With no fan required to keep it cool the drive is also very quiet, and it even has an auto power off. A Web Access feature enables access from any other computer, so you can get to your pictures quickly regardless of location, while normal connectivity is via USB 2.0. The LinkStation can be set to operate security barriers for increased protection of your images.
