Blissett’s cloth bound 300 square photobook came in at £41.79 before postage and packing (it’s £39.99 for a 24 page book with extra pages costing 30p a go) and for the money you get a nicely crafted book. The binding was trim and tidy with neat corners and the endpaper was faultless, all of which gave the book a really professional look and feel. This was let down only by the cut of some of the pages which was slightly rough in places. Our book was finished in an attractive, durable buckram cloth cover with a debossed title on the front and spine. This can come in 16 colours and while illustrated covers are also available, they only come as an option on smaller books.
In isolation, images looked good, but seemed a little flat, lacking in vibrancy, and weren’t quite as crisp as they could have been. Overall a great service and a professional looking book from Blissett. 

Interface

Blissett offers downloadable software to design your book and the system features a handy tip system to help get you started. Once you’ve uploaded your images to the software it’s a simple drag-and-drop system to put your images into the book. For simplicity there’s an auto layout function, but there are more in-depth designs and hundreds of fonts to choose from if required.
