One of the most frustrating aspects of rechargeable cells is the need to charge them fully before use. Ansmann’s MaxE cells do away with this and come pre-charged and ready to use. They also have the added benefit of very low discharge over time, so they can sit unused for up to a year and only lose 15% of their overall capacity in that time. While not as high in capacity as some standard rechargeable batteries, the MaxE cells hold a respectable 2100mAh, making them perfect for staying in the bag as spares or for powering your back-up compact.
