Ilford Galerie Smooth Lustre Duo paper is ideal for anyone who likes the idea of printing on either side – great for placing prints in photo albums or sleeved portfolios.

Compatible with both dye- and pigment-based inks, Ilford Galerie Smooth Lustre Duo feels refined in the hand, weighing 280gsm. Being double-sided it offers more flexibility than conventional one-sided paper and the supplied instruction sheet clearly states that the first printed side must be completely dry before attempting a reprint on the opposite side. An ICC profile for this media is also available free of charge from Ilford’s website. 
This paper handles definition between dark shadows and bright highlights very well. Only when a sheet is held up to a bright light can you notice darker tones on the opposite side showing through lighter highlights. The detail that it produces is second to none and to ensure we didn’t damage our first print when printing on the reverse, we let it dry fully so there was no chance of damage from the print rollers.
This media is available in A4, A3+ and 12x12in sizes. A box of 25 sheets in the A4 size costs £17 and for an extra £33 you can get 100 sheets.
