Clikpic offers four subscription packages to photographers, including standard, intermediate, professional and super pro.
The standard package is a good place to start with Clikpic if you want to upload 100 images and you can upgrade to a larger package should you need to. The admin area of the website is split into four categories and if you pick Style Settings from the Content heading, you’ll be able to choose from 10 template styles and five different colour schemes. The admin interface looks complex, but there are Help icons which let you read up on how each option affects your site. If you fancy adding watermarks to your shots, there’s a feature for this and the title of the site can be swapped for a header graphic if preferred. Clikpic doesn’t offer a multiple image uploader, so pics have to be uploaded one at a time, but you can attach descriptions, keywords, locations and dates. You’re given plenty of control in the Manage Photos area when you need to re-arrange your shots, and there are seven slideshow transitions that can be used to give your gallery a slick look. Other features include integration with PayPal for online sales, and the option of adding news pages. It’s worth knowing that the package prices do not include a domain name, but they can be purchased from the site. Add £6 for a .co.uk domain (min 2 years).
