Artizen HDR v2.7 is a well-featured HDR package combining a Tone Mapping interface and general imaging tools.
The Artizen HDR v2.7 merges a range of file types including RAW and JPEG so you can align shots either automatically or manually with the Freehand tool. The Tone Mapping interface offers three ‘Operators’ (Display, Natural and Dramatic), each with sliders to enhance local details and apply global adjustments. There’s also a histogram display, pano stitching, vignetting control and sample panels for comparing different adjustments side-by-side.
Performance was excellent taking only a 60secs to generate an image from large RAW files, and when previewing adjustments, even the Slow & Detailed option isn’t too sluggish. The results are good, too, with high levels of contrast and lots of enhanced detail. On the downside, however, some artefacting was evident on really enhanced HDR images, but all in all a good, low cost, solution from Artizen.
