The Sony Cyber-shot W320 is a very compact camera with an extremely narrow body depth of only 17mm.

The Sony Cyber-Shot W320 is nicely finished – though the body is predominantly plastic – and has a high-end brushed metal effect available in either Black, Silver, Pink or Gold. At 14.1Mp, the Cyber-Shot W320 offers a high resolution, but in real-world terms this won’t make much difference over a 12Mp chip when it comes to flexibility. The ISO range goes from 80-3200, and while the short end of the 26-105mm optical zoom is great for wide-angle shooters, the long end won’t give you as much reach as some here.
Focusing is pretty rapid, locking on without much hassle, and it’s also incredibly quiet as it does its job. There’s a switch on the body to jump between still and video capture, and though there’s no Mode dial, the 4-way pad offers control over flash and the Self-timer. The interface is slick; it’s clear and concise, with helpful guidance for most settings.
