Venue information

Enjoy incredibly close encounters with some of the world’s most amazing animals in our drive through Safari Park. See how your car measures up to giraffe, mind the zebras crossing, remember that the rhinos have right of way, watch out for the wolves and beware of our meddling monkeys… there is so much to look out for in this amazing world of animals!

Venue verdict: Allow a full day and take your time going round. Famous for Lions, but offers much more. Make sure car windows are cleaned before going in to aid photographing through glass in the areas where best advised to keep windows closed!

If you have the ability I'd strongly suggest staying the night at the caravan park. From here you can take photos at sunset and sunrise. We went for an afternoon walk at about 6.30pm while staying there in summer and got some great photos of the hippos. When we went through the park during the day the hippos were no where to be seen. Definitely worth the trip to the park for the animals but plenty of other opportunities too.

We have had the pleasure of visiting some of the best Zoos in the world, including Singapore, Taronga and Australia Zoo, along with Dubbo and Longleat Safari Parks. Longleat is very well set out with all animals close enough to get the WOW shots! Brilliant!!!
