Venue information
Inside the main building at Tropiquaria is our Indoor Jungle. With a waterfall leading to a stream flowing through the hall and free flying birds overhead we have tried to create a rainforest atmosphere. In enclosures around the hall you will find a variety of animals from giant snapping turtles and caiman to a variety of snakes and lizards and small primates such as Goeldi's Monkeys and free range Marmosets.
Venue Verdict: A small tropical house but packed with great things to see and photograph. Staff are keen and helpful. The got a bird-eating spider out of cage for me to photograph whilst I was there.
