Went here not long ago, wasn't really very impressed.
I don't approve of zoos but I got the impression that the CC was nothing of the sort and, while it is significantly better than a zoo in that at least as all the animals are at least suited to our climate it hardly provides 'natural surroundings'.
I felt the cages for the owls could have been much larger, its not as if there is a lack of room and the space for the otters was very limited too, they only had a small pond which was certainly not sufficient to swim in.
Although you can get shots of the otters, their enclosures being open, it is difficult with the rest of the creatures because of the mesh cages.
