Adobe CS3 Bridge

Hi,

I am having trouble viewing my Canon Eos 40D Raw images in CS3 Bridge! I can see Raw images from my Fuji S9500 can anyone tell me why this is happening???  i have camera raw 4.3 installed in CS3 but when i looked for the raw file in bridge it wasn't there so i put it in there just like you do for CS3 but it still won't work.

Thanks

Brian

Re: Adobe CS3 Bridge

Nearly all makes of camera have a different RAW format you will have to get the Canon vesion for your bridge. either get it updated by going to help/updates. or directly to the adobe site and downloading the addon and instaling it manually. there are a couple of treads that has discused this befor if you do a search these will have the full instructions.

Are you confident that V4.3 supports your 40D? If not I would be inclined to download V4.5 which certainly does.

Re: Adobe CS3 Bridge

The raw plugin for Adobe serves both applications Bridge and ARC editor and should only be put in....

C: >program files > Commen Files> Adobe. CS3 > plugins > File Formats.

Anywhere else and it will not work . Also remeber to remove the old camera raw plugin before installing the new one.

Hi Craftysnapper,

The jobs a good un! Thank you very much.

My mistake was when i put in the new raw file i did not go through Common Files i went straight to the Adobe folder, cs3, plug-ins, file formats ect.

Regards

Brian
