Have you ever won?...best i've done is two 2nds, if i was a racehorse my form figures would read 000000000000000000000200000000000000200F0000000

The 'F' was when i 'fell' asleep and missed the deadline!  lol

You'd better come up smelling sweet, because you're a long time stinking

Well here's mine just had a lovely week in Yorkshire in my caravan, looking over a field full of sheep and a pond with Canada geese, a Heron, and a couple of ducks, Heaven. David

I went out to get some shots of the nations favorite past time, fishing but decided to go for a more abstract image. Just sitting next to the sea/lake/res always does it for me.

Was going to enter this one but like I say went for a more abstract shot. Fingers crossed, good luck everyone.

thaught one would never come in ... but finaly got a heli i have been trying to shoot for 3 yrs   always managed to just miss it    ( not this time !! ) i am going back in the morning to get take off shots ..

the heli is one of  the national grids survey helis  and is an american swhitzzer   believe it or not it is left hand drive ( or fly !! )

it is jet powered  and the tail rotor is not driven by gears but is belt drive  as my shot of the jet engine and drive belt system shows  a not normaly seen view ..

as i said  left hand drive ,,  he's the co pilot !!!!   more often than not a heli pilot sits in the right seat on these ones it was moved to the left so they could put the cyclic stick at the side instead of the middle  thus freeing up an extra seat as it was originaly intended as a us millitary training helicopter !!.. both nice chaps to chat with !!
