Photo printing reader review

Having recently read the review in DP regarding Colour Processing labs, I decided to give one of them a try. As someone who has always been keen on photography it was only the beginning of 2008 that I purchased my first DSLR camera. I had taken a shot of a red maple leaf on a cracked old stump and entered it in the DSLR skills course gallery 'My best shot'.
I decided that having never had a shot professionally printed I would try Loxley Colour. I downloaded their software and uploaded my shot. Although the initial experience was a little complicated I was soon ready to upload the shot. At the time of my upload there was 20% off for first time users. 2 days later my picture turned up, although you would not have known it was an A4 print as it was packaged in a 4 inch deep box, then wrapped in bubble wrap with a layer of foam sheet arount the face of the actual picture. I was very impressed with the service and the colour was an exact match for the one on my PC. If you are worried about colour matching, Loxley's will allow you to send them a colour sample sheet, which they will process and return to you free of charge (when sent with an order). The Gold award in DP is more than warranted!
