2 WAYS OF LEVELLING IMAGES IN PHOTOSHOP
(Particularly useful for levelling horizons)
1. Using Ruler Tool Open image and make a copy On Copy layer, open Ruler tool, which is located in the same section as the eyedropper Run the ruler along the image at the angle to which you want the image to be rotated Click Edit/Transform/Rotate Canvas/Arbitrary/OK Double click image inside image or hit Return to make the change and crop as required.
2. Using Crop Tool Open image and make a copy On Copy layer, open Crop tool and make a small marquee around the area which gives a datum for the straightening. Use the corner handles to turn the marquee to the required angle Pull the corner handles to the outer edges of the marquee to the required finished image size Double click image inside image or hit Return to make the change and crop further as required.
