Toning refers to the photographic process that many traditional and digital photographers apply to their images to change the colour or tone of their prints. Some of the most popular toning effects include Sepia and Cyanotypes. These can easily be applied in Photoshop or Elements and for further information on how to apply these toning techniques, check out Part Three of the Digital Darkroom pull-out guide in the October 08 Issue of Digital Photo.
