Neutral Density Filter

Neutral density filters have a slightly grey tint to them, but because they’re neutral, they only change exposure, not colour, contrast or anything else. They’re designed to reduce light intensity so if you need to reduce your exposure but your camera doesn’t have a smaller aperture and/or faster shutter speed, you can attach an ND filter to reduce exposure by 1 or more stops.
