Adaptor ring

An adaptor ring is fitted onto the front of a lens and it allows you to use accessories with a different diameter. The ring will have it’s own narrow thread which screws into the lens. Adaptor rings are most commonly used to attach filter systems onto the front of the lens, but always be sure to purchase the correct size diameter ring for the appropriate lens. Adapter ring threads are measured in mm.
