The thing about photography is that often the story behind a particular image or a shoot can be as interesting and as worthwhile recording as the photographs themselves. In these Photo Blogs we'll be asking photographers to do just that - record and share the stories behind some of their photographs.

Sometimes the stars align and that perfect image is presented from out of nowhere; all the photographer need do is push the shutter. Other photographs require more careful planning, organisation and execution. And sometimes, when anything and everything has gone awry, it is still possible to rescue an incredible shot from the jaws of failure.
