In our fine art feature, published in the July 10 Issue of Practical Photography, we showed you how soften your digital shots by adding a hand-painted border. Combining your arty images with the borders couldn't be simpler. There are no complex selections to be made or intricate masks. All you need to do is change the Blending mode and adjust the size of your shot. It'll only take you 2 minutes to do once you've mastered the principles. How to download
Simply click a broder you like the look of to open up the high-resolution version. Once it’s loaded, right-click it and select ‘Save Picture As’ from the pop-up menu. Choose a suitable save location (such as the My Pictures folder) and click Save. You can now close the image window and download another shot.
