Art & Design Foundation is a one year intensive course designed to develop students’ critical engagement with their work and initiate self-directed learning. Help and advice regarding university applications and employment are offered by personal tutors during private tutorial sessions.

The course gives students a broad experience of a full range of Art & Design disciplines such as:  Photography, Fine Art, 3D Design, Textiles & Fashion, Graphic Design and Printmaking. This is facilitated through a first term of rotation around these disciplines before specialising in the second term.
